TAG Expo’s first edition was held in 2022 and the second in 2023, with a much broader reach and coverage. TAG Expo’s reach, coverage and product portfolio have grown exponentially over the past two editions.
TAG Expo 2023 at Texvalley in Erode was held on July 24-26.
The event attracted over 1,200 attendees and 150 exhibitors to showcase international trends, industry innovations and new products.
The success of the event was boosted by media coverage, digital strategy, and connections made with MSMEs.
The next edition of the event is planned for July 2024.
The event brought together exhibitors, buyers, sellers, agents, brokers, traders and wholesalers from different geographies, categories and sectors. This exposition was made even more spectacular by the participation of top brands and buyers from around the world.
The event wasn’t just advertised through a 360-degree plan, but also covered by leading national and global media platforms. This helped the expo achieve success. The expo was able to reach the right audience in different regions with its wide coverage of trade magazines, influencers marketing, digital media and direct marketing. It also had outdoor and airport hoardings and news publications, print ads and press meetings. It also allowed the sponsors to gain maximum exposure in the media.
The event featured a diverse range of textiles, apparel, accessories and conferences by industry experts. Fashion shows were held to international standards and choreographed by well-known fashion designers. Awards ceremonies were held to recognize the best brands. TAG Expo’s third edition was also associated with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which allowed the exhibitors to benefit from the subsidy on exhibiting fees.
TAG Expo 2023 provided a platform where both buyers and sellers could network with each other and benefit from it. TAG Expo’s lead generation helped the event to make the most of the global audience. The TAG Expo created an environment for business and brought together different components of the industry. This gave all visitors a chance to experience a holistic experience.

TAG Expo helped to develop a product lifecycle and thus a healthy ecosystem in the textile hub in India, greatly contributing to the apparel and textile industry.
TAG Expo 2023 had a fully digitalised event. Bookings for stalls and even as a buyer or visitor were all done online. TAG Expo 2023 was supported by a special application that facilitated buyer-manufacturer cooperation even after the event. This new technology allowed buyers and manufacturers to better network.
TAG Expo played an important role in the development of the textile, apparel, and clothing markets. It has helped to introduce regional brands to global markets, introduced the latest technologies and techniques, as well as designs and trends.
TAG Expo achieved its goal to become the largest exposition of garments, accessories and related products in India. This includes states outside the south. The next edition of TAG Expo is scheduled in July 2024 and will see an increase in the buyer’s database beyond Indian shores, with the objective to make TAG Expo India’s biggest B2B exposition for the textiles, accessories, and garment industry.
