The Princess of Wales’s wardrobe has been a source of inspiration for royal fans ever since her first appearance in the spotlight, during the early stages of her relationship.
Princess Kate is always polished and ready for any occasion.
The royal has always been known to recycle pieces in her closet. She mixes and matches high-street favourites with classics from high couture.
Every time she appears, royal fans are enthralled by her passion for floral fascinators as well as beautiful gowns.

She wore a top with sequins, yellow shorts, and a pink purse.
Pink leg warmers, black boots and a pink hat completed the outfit of the now Princess.

The “Kate effect” began when Princess Kate wore the now famous dark blue Issa dress for her official announcement to Prince William.
The dress is similar to the blue outfit Princess Diana wore in 1981 for her engagement portraits.
After its debut, the now-iconic dress was quickly sold out.
The wrap dress was paired with a sapphire necklace and earrings, as well as her engagement ring.

In 2011, she married Prince William in London
Princess Kate wore a stunning Sarah Burton wedding gown by Alexander McQueen, featuring French Chantilly Lace and English Cluny Lace throughout the bodice and skirt.
The flowing skirt made of ivory satin and white gazar was designed as a flower opening.
Kate was given a Cartier Halo, which is a tiara with a Cartier Halo. This tiara holds tulle in place and has hand-embroidered flowers.
Alexander McQueen also made her satin and lace handmade shoes. She wore diamond drop earrings and handmade satin and lacing by Robinson Pelham.

Kate wore a blush Jenny Packham dress to the ARK 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner, in London. It was one of her most memorable moments as Duchess.
She accessorised her look with a blush-hued handbag and suede pink rose heels.
The Prince and Princess were attending their first official event together as a couple.
Fashion house said at the time that the Duchess of Cambridge wore an ethereal Jenny Packham gown to the Annual Ark Charity Gala. The Duchess picked the pearlescent rose sequin and Swarovski crystal gown from the SS11 collection.

In 2013, after the birth of Prince George, she became a mother.
Kate and William posed in a Jenny Packham blue dress with white dots outside St. Mary’s, where she welcomed her first son, Prince George.
The outfit was similar to the one Princess Diana wore when she gave Prince William birth in 1982.
Kate wore Kiki McDonough Citrine drop earrings, featuring a yellow pear-shaped citrine stone suspended in an 18-carat golden hoop.
She also wore her Pied A Terre Imperia heels.

Princess Kate began her tour to New Zealand and Australia wearing a red double-breasted jacket and matching pillbox cap, which was reminiscent of former First Lady Jackie Kennedy.
Catherine Walker, the designer, made this dress.
The royal finished her look with a red pillbox by Gina Foster, and Kiki McDonough grace earrings.

In 2015, after the birth of Princess Charlotte
Kate was stunning in Jenny Packham’s buttercup yellow floral print dress in May 2015 after giving birth to her daughter.
Kate paired this dress with nude Jimmy Choo Gilbert heeled.
The then-Duchess also wore her Annoushka’s Pearl Drop earrings.

During her maiden solo overseas trip as a princess, the Princess of Wales wore a blue powder suit designed by Catherine Walker to visit the Mauritshuis Museum.
The jacket had an oversized neck, a large leather belt, and fabric-covered buttons. It was worn with a knee-length matching skirt.
Kate wore her L.K. Bennett Nina clutch which she had worn several times throughout that year.

Jenny Packham’s Casa Crystal Clutch in silver, which she also owns in red.

In 2018, after the birth of Prince Louis, she gave birth to her daughter, Princess Louis.
Princess Kate looked radiant in a red Jenny Packham gown with a Peter Pan collar made of white lace.
This was the third instance Princess Kate chose to wear a Jenny Packham outfit when she left the hospital with her baby.
As you can see, she did the same thing with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Kate chose the same Gianvito-Rossi shoes in nude colour for her outfits as she did in The Netherlands.

The Princess was wearing a wool silk primrose coat by Alexander McQueen.
The coat was almost identical to the one she wore for her daughter Charlotte’s christening, in 2015, and at the Anzac Day Commemoration Service and Thanksgiving held at Westminster Abbey.
The Princess finished her look with a pair Chimmy Choo Romy heels.
Princess Kate is well-known for her mastery of high heels. One of her “hacks”, as a royal style expert described it, was detailed in a previous article.
Feel Good Fashion Coah Miranda Hold said that Princess Kate has a secret to staying comfortable in her high heels.
She claimed Kate wears special tights that anybody can obtain.
Kate Middleton, the royal herself, has approved of her style hack.
We all know Kate wears heels often, and for long periods of time.
“We know that she frequently wears heels a bit too large for herself as a way to remain comfortable.
What else can she do to keep her shoes on and stay comfortable? “Oh yes, there’s.”
She said: “It all comes down to the hosiery.” Kate is wearing a pair of special tights.
The tights have “special silicone pads on the feet”.
This “stops the feet from slipping and makes sure she is comfortable throughout the day.”
“I promise, these are total game changers.”

The Jenny Packham dress in this vibrant green made a bold statement on her official tour to Pakistan with Prince William.
She wore the dress and O’Nitaa earring for a reception at the Pakistan National Monument.
Kate wore the dress with Jimmy Choo sandals.
How to “steal Kate’s Style”
Miranda Holder, fashion expert and author, explained that people could “steal Kate Middleton’s Style” by simply following three rules.
She stated that “adopting a uniform style” is the key to getting Kate’s look.
Miranda stated that “a style uniform is a great wardrobe weapon.”
It is “a great way to take the guesswork out getting dressed in mornings”.
“It may take some time to determine what your uniform should be, but after you have done that, you can move on to other decisions and not worry about ‘What shall I wear today’.
It is a great way of building a brand for yourself and guarantees that you will be comfortable and fashionable at all times.
Miranda added that “always wear monochrome” is another rule.
Monochrome does not just refer to wearing black or white, but can also be described as dressing in one shade.
Experts explained that this “is an incredibly flattering appearance, as the single color elongates your shape making you look taller”.
“This look looks great on everyone, just make sure that you choose a shape and colour that suits your personality.”
“Monochrome looks chic and expensive. It also makes accessorising much easier,” she advised.
The third rule is that you should wear “nude courts”.
The neutral color of the court shoes goes with any outfit, whether it is printed or not.
Miranda explained why these shoes are so flattering.
It also gives you the freedom to experiment with other accessories.
She added, “You won’t need to match your shoes.”
