Printer Unveiling Marks Expansion of Company’s Growing Modular DTF Program; Products Will Be On Display at ISA Booth #2641 May 4-6, 2022
BOCA RATON, Fla. – STS Inks, a global leader in the wide format, industrial and household inkjet markets, announced today that it will debut a 64-inch dual-head Mutoh DTF printer at the annual ISA International Sign Expo 2022, taking place in Atlanta, GA, May 4-6, 2022. Complemented by a 44-Inch Oven Shaker Unit, the new printer and STS Inks’ expanding modular DTF Program will be on display at booth #2641.
STS Inks DTF System was designed to make it simple and economical to create custom tshirts and other apparel quickly. The company’s revolutionary Direct-to-Film(DTF) modular system was launched in 2021. Mutoh is a top-selling manufacturer wide format printers and the STS program was created in partnership.
While the centerpiece of the STS Inks DTF system is a compact printer that measures 24” and is built to fit onto a table-top or rolling stand in any size print shop, the new STS/MUTOH XPJ 1682D 64” DTF Printer has been added to the program to fill a gap in the marketplace. The dual-head staggered design allows for extremely fast print speeds, smooth gradations, and high-quality printing with reduced resolution.
The new STS/MUTOH printer has SAI’s Flexi DTF Pro Edition RIP Software, bundled with Flexi DTF Pro Editor. The XPJ-1682D features automatic bi-directional alignments and a user-friendly touch screen. It also has enhanced LED lighting and a media feed flange which allows users to quickly load media and exchange multiple rolls. These features simplify operation, increase productivity and reduce maintenance. They also ensure high quality output and production. The XPJ-1682D is paired with STS Inks’ DTF ink, which offers users excellent color gamut and outstanding durability.
“We’re excited to give attendees at ISA a first-look at the STS/MUTOH XPJ 1682D 64” DTF Printer and have the opportunity to try out our entire DTF program,” said Shahar Turgeman, who founded STS Inks in 1999. “We have had an incredible response to the modular DTF system since its launch and we look forward to continuing to expand our DTF options and capabilities to meet the growing needs of the industry.”
DTF is a better option than traditional DTG (Direct To Garment) technology. It can print onto non-treated cotton, silk, denim, nylon and other fabrics. DTF can be printed onto silk, cotton, nylon, silk, denim and nylon as well as 50/50 blends. DTF can be used on both white and dark textiles. Users can choose between a matte or glossy finish. DTF is easy to use, requires no cutting or weeding, produces crisp edges and images, doesn’t require technical printing knowledge and generates less waste.
STS Inks designed its DTF programs and packages to be easier than what was available on the market. The company spent an enormous amount of time researching pairing components that were easy to set up and use right out the box. This resulted in a completely hassle-free customer experience, as opposed to equipment that requires many frustrating calibrations and tweaking upon arrival. STS Inks also offers unmatched service and reliability, particularly when compared to the difficulty of repairing broken printers or printers that have been converted or refurbished from overseas. This is because parts and technicians are often not readily available.
STS Inks launched the industry’s first-ever fluorescent inks for DTF printing in December 2021. New inks were introduced by STS Inks to print true-to-life DTF photos. They include light magenta DTF inks and light cyan DTFinks. They offer more accurate colors and have improved gradients. STS Inks’ premium quality inks are well-known. They can be used with all major brands of large format printers. STS Inks DTF Inks have a high-color density, wide color gamut and exceptional color saturation. They are also print-safe thanks to encapsulated nano pigment and nano resin.
STS Inks can be used in a variety of applications. They are non-toxic and eco-friendly. STS Inks can be purchased in CMYK or white.
